The hotel's location is perfect for sightseeing, with plenty of shrines, temples and shops nearby. the staff are fantastic and eager to offer advice on places to eat or sights to see. the suites are spacious, combining thoroughly modern amenities with traditional Japanese character. Examples include wooden baths, free minibars, coffee machines and fresh dressing gowns every day.
The hotel entrance can be tricky to locate for taxis, but this issue doesn't detract from the convenience of the location.

The suite was spacious and cozy with a comfortable bed and good quality sheets. The location was ideal, close to sightseeing hotspots and shopping areas. there were complimentary drinks in the minibar which is always great. The New Year decorations were lovely and we received a small gift from the hotel which was a really nice touch.
The hotel breakfast was extremely disappointing. There wasn't a lot of variety, and the quality of the food wasn't up to par either.

It wasn't situated in the heart of the city, which made traveling outside the hotel slightly inconvenient.
